Rich Forster - Founder KBJ

Publisher Rich Forster will readily tell you that he credits three important lifetime sources for any success he has attained in over 40 years of sales, management and publishing experience.

First and foremost, was accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Second were the loving and positive influences of his family, especially his parents, grandparents and wife of 26 years, Vana. And third would be the many mistakes and experiences he learned from throughout his professional career in the telecommunications industry and yellow page directory publishing as well as numerous entrepreneur business attempts along the way.

Rich chose to enter the Corporate business world with Southwestern Bell at the age of 20 after obtaining a liberal arts degree in Junior College, and over his 19 year career was able to advance to a General Manager position managing a significant Yellow Page subsidiary before he and Vana decided it was time to start their own yellow page publishing company in Branson, Mo. After four years of living the great American dream, they sold their directory company to a larger directory publisher whom Rich has been associated with for over 12 years. He has held various sales management and executive roles in the company and now functions in a consultant role acquiring directory acquisitions and starting up new directory products throughout the country.

Rich specializes in small business sales and management training with a mentoring style approach that has produced not only hundreds of excellent sales and management people but people with the highest ethical and character standards. His philosophy has always been that "the essence of success is not necessarily being number one, but to always strive for excellence". "Because it isn't what you do for a living but what God does through your living that is important".

This is "Marketplace Ministry" where all tribes, tongues and nations come together on a daily basis to conduct commerce and life….The streets of the business world was where the Gospel was first preached and demonstrated by Jesus Himself. Not limiting himself to just the comfortable surroundings of his city, Rich also ministers in the Ukraine, teaching these Kingdom Business Principles for the Marketplace every opportunity he can, fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus as the Gospel writers instructed us. Rich and Vana have two awesome sons, Tanner 23 and Tyler 17 and resides near Springfield, Missouri.
