I have been a student of life now for 60 years. I have always believed in God and thanks to loving and faith filled parents and family, I have had the benefit of a stable and blessed upbringing. For more than four decades I survived, thrived but more correctly, I existed in life with little concern for my eternal future since I knew that by most standards, I was a well liked and a pretty neat guy who never hurt a soul. With that kind of personal solace but most importantly, the grace of God, those were the saving factors for my living existence and my eternal soul.

I spent many years climbing the corporate ladders, starting businesses and doing anything in my mental or physical ability to succeed, no matter what or who paid the cost. But throughout those years and the subsequent ones too, I questioned what and why of what I was doing. I had this strange feeling inside me that there was a different plan for my life that I was not the author of but I couldn't seem to grasp it. I wasn't always successful at what I was doing and began to feel guilty about certain questionable practices I was dependent on in the past that now were strangely bothering me, causing me to question myself and my motives.

Then it happened, a significant and emotional effect that changed my life forever. A desperate time in my life to be sure. While my business was failing and my marriage precariously on the edge, I found a True Savior, and it wasn't somebody or something else like I used or had before. This time I finally found a true relationship with not just a Savior but an ideal Business Partner, Jesus Christ. From that day forward, my personal and business life has truly been blessed in ways I had never been able to accomplish before. Nearly fifteen years later I am publishing the Kingdom Business Journal along with many authors and contributors to hopefully share with you some of the Kingdom principles of success and truth that really worked for us and will work for you too. The reason is simply because God says they will and "He always tells the truth".

These are the Kingdom principles which we will present you in this publication and how you can apply them to your life, your Divine calling and your business as a marketplace minister. Who is a "Marketplace Minister" you ask? That would be you. Only two percent of Christians are full time ministers and are primarily behind a pulpit in a church setting. However, we are all charged in the Gospels to be ministers for the cause of Christ. We hope to encourage you in your Divine calling and mentor you in your business profession to assume your God given role in the marketplace of your society and peer group, and achieve the success and influence your were created for. I invite your comments, feedback and suggestions on how we can better serve you and your needs and especially your testimonies as you successfully use these methods for God's honor and glory.
